Cleveland-based Christian & Timbers, an executive search firm, named Robert J. Lambert managing director and principal of the firm’s new Southern California office in Irvine. He will also oversee branch offices in Los Angeles and San Diego.
Prior to joining Christian & Timbers, Lambert was a partner with Heidrick & Struggles International. The resident of Irvine also has experience in the retail sector, where he was executive vice president of Broadway Stores.
“With this area being extremely involved with the high-tech industry, we believe Orange County is under-served in the executive search industry,” Lambert said. “This is a very exciting opportunity and I’m glad to be a part of it.”
The Irvine office currently has 10 employees, but Lambert said that number should double within the year.
Lambert is married and has two sons. He is a scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America in OC.
